Policy

Events of 5 people or more will be delivered by Flik. Parties fewer than 5 people will be available for pick up at the café on or before the requested delivery time. Lunch Vouchers are also available for your convenience. Vouchers can be given out to event members and used in the café for customers to purchase a drink, entrée, sides, and dessert. The vouchers will then be tallied and billed to the event coordinators credit card.


Ordering

Please place all orders via the online ordering system (see below). Multiple orders for the same day must be separated by meals. For example, if you have an all day event consisting of three meals you must create an order for each separate meal time; breakfast, lunch and snack. Please place all orders 48 hours prior to the event. Final count for large events over 50 people must be given 72 hour prior. Please be sure to enter the event time and delivery time accurately to avoid any errors. Delivery time should be set half an hour prior to the start of the event to allow for any operational discrepancies. The food will be delivered and set up within the half hour time frame. We fully understand that last minute orders do happen and we will do our best to accommodate any last minute orders although no guarantees can be made for orders placed with less than 48 hour notice. Please contact a Flik manager to make arrangements. Last minute orders will be subject to food and delivery limitations. All food and beverages must be consumed or taken at conclusion of event. We do not store left over items for future events, or reduce bill for food and beverage not consumed. We can provide To Go boxes upon request.


Billing and Payment

All Catered events must be paid in full prior to the event. Full payment is due which can be paid by credit card. Price quotes do not include Maine Meals Tax. 20% Booking charge applied to all outside vendors. This applies to non LL Bean corporate purchasing cards.


Room Reservations

Room reservations are your responsibility. Please reserve the room prior to placing your order and don’t forget to include additional time for setup and cleanup. Trash receptacles are also your responsibility. Please coordinate with facilities, as not all meeting rooms have available trash receptacles.


Attendant Fees

If you would like an attendant to be present during service time, it will be a $50 fee. They will replenish offerings and be on site for any late requests. If you desire your event to be served or cooked on site, it will be a $50 /per hour charge per person (minimum 1 person 2 hours) please include this as a special reques


After hours events, 3 PM or later that require an attendant will be a $50 / per hour per attendant fee


Linens

In house table linens are provided free of charge. If you are planning an event on premise and only require linens, they must be ordered at least 1 week in advance. Our Linen Service delivers every Monday so please plan your order accordingly. The cost to rent table linens is $10.00 each. These will cover 6 or 8 foot tables. Specialty linen and skirting is available with a handling charge upon request. Be aware that late requests could incur fees from our suppliers that will be applied to the bill. Linens must be returned to the kitchen the following day.


Substitutions 

Flik Catering reserves the right to make substitutions due to circumstances beyond our control. All substitutions will be of comparable quality. We will make every attempt to inform you of any substitutions prior to the event. Specialty alterations to menu items are subject to additional charges.


Cancellation Policy

 Large events require a 72 Hour advance notice. If less than a 72 hour notice nonrecoverable charge for food and equipment will be charged. For small events under 25 people a 48 hour notice is required. Less than a 48 hour notice nonrecoverable charge for food and equipment will be charged.
